Job Description: Associate Field Programme Officer (P-2)

Organization: Trust Fund for Victims (TFV)

Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda

Type of Appointment: Fixed-Term Appointment

Minimum Net Annual Salary: 65,356.00

Contract Duration: General Temporary Assistance (GTA) until 31/12/2024 with the possibility of extension

Organizational Context:
The Trust Fund for Victims (TFV) operates under the mandate of the International Criminal Court (ICC) to mobilize resources and implement Court-ordered reparations and other programs for the benefit of victims of crimes under the jurisdiction of the ICC. The TFV has programs in various situations under the Court’s jurisdiction.

Duties and Responsibilities:
– Manage and oversee projects within TFV’s programs under the reparations and assistance mandates.
– Monitor the performance of TFV implementing partners, ensuring adherence to project obligations and contracts.
– Maintain accuracy and completeness of victim beneficiary database and case management records.
– Participate in the selection of implementing partners for TFV reparation programs.
– Inform situational stakeholders to enhance the visibility and meaning of TFV’s reparation program.

Essential Qualifications:
– Education: Advanced university degree in business or public administration, human resources management, social sciences, law, or related field. A first-level university degree with additional relevant experience is accepted.
– Experience: Minimum of two years of field-based work experience in program design, project implementation, monitoring, and evaluation relevant to TFV’s mandates.
– Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficiency in program design, project oversight, relationship management, and teamwork.
– Language: Proficiency in English or French; knowledge of the other is desirable. Proficiency in a local language relevant to the duty station is an asset.

– Personnel at the General Service level are not entitled to all benefits granted to internationally-recruited staff.
– The Court reserves the right not to make any appointment or to make an appointment at a lower grade or with a modified job description.
