About the
High School Summit

CWC High School Summit is an annual event that brings together high school students around Africa and provides them with the knowledge, skills, and inspiration they need to become effective changemakers in their communities and beyond. By joining forces with others who share their passion for creating a better world, students will be able to make a tangible difference in the world and help shape a more just and sustainable future for all.
We recognize that creating lasting change requires collaboration across generations, sectors, and continents. That's why we are committed to bringing together young people from diverse backgrounds, as well as experts from various fields, to facilitate cross-sectoral dialogue and learning.
With interactive workshops, keynote speeches from inspiring thought leaders, and opportunities for networking and collaboration, the summit provides a unique and engaging space for young changemakers to connect, learn, and take action.

SHORT HISTORY & GOALS

The High School Summit, which is organized by Communities Will Connect, Started in 2022 in Nigeria and has spread to six different African counties. Our goal in hosting this event is to empower young people to become changemakers in their own right. We believe that young people have the power to drive social change and that by providing them with the tools and resources they need, we can help them make a real impact on the world around them.

During the High School Summit, attendees will explore a variety of topics related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), such as poverty reduction, climate action, and access to education. They will learn about innovative solutions that have been implemented in different parts of the world, and will have the opportunity to brainstorm their own ideas for making a difference in their communities.
